Join us at 9:15am each Sunday during Advent as we dive into the origins and development of a few of our most beloved Advent hymns. Experience hymns played on our wonderful organ, followed by a careful theological study of the poetic words that we call 'our hymns.' Warm your soul this Advent season with a deeper appreciation of the Church's song as we anticipate the coming of the Christ child!

The Journey to Bethlehem: A Godly Play experience

During the four weeks of Advent, we are all on the way to Bethlehem. We are all making the journey. We are all getting ready to enter the Mystery of Christmas. So let’s go with the prophets, the Holy Family, the shepherds, the angels, the Magi and all the rest to make the journey that was not just back then. It is also now. Follow along from home with your Advent kit.

Purchase your take-home Advent kit for $30. Limited quantity available. Kit includes candles, floral pins, wreath base and weekly devotional booklet, “A Journey to Bethlehem,” for children and families of all ages. Follow along in your booklet, which supplements the Godly Play videos posted each Sunday at 9:15am. All proceeds from the sale of these kits will benefit Saint John’s outreach efforts. Contact Allison Pace to reserve your kit.
