Saint John's welcomes The Rev. Donald Fishburne

February 2nd, 2020, 9:15am & 10:30am

Our Rector has called together our clergy, staff, Churchwardens and Vestry members in a gathering for visioning, positive planning, and goal-setting. The staff team will meet Friday, January 31. Vestry and staff members continue working Friday evening and Saturday, catching God’s vision for us! Donald Fishburne, a longtime priest and consultant, will facilitate our work  and preach on Sunday morning, February 2nd at 10:30am.

The learning continues at a Special Adult Forum at 9:15am with the Rector, Vestry leaders, and Donald Fishburne.  Please join us as we share learnings and ideas – and invite your participation! Join us in the Parish Hall.

Children's Ministry Outreach

Children are invited to join us for lunch in the Parish Hall following the 10:30 service and enjoy lunch and fellowship together. With its delicious food and atmosphere of merriment, the Waffle Shop provides downtowners with a unique lunch, during the season of Lent, while supporting the outreach ministries of congregations throughout the city.  The volunteer-run Waffle Shop is open from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. each day of the Lenten Preaching Series. The Waffle Shop menu still features some of the same recipes it has served since its opening in 1928, plus updated choices for the more health-conscious. Come alone or bring your friends.
